DBRThe Music of Resurrection

Resurrection features original music by the acclaimed Haitian-American composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR). Noted for its eclecticism and for imbuing classical sounds with a highly modern sensibility, DBR’s work can be described as both multicultural and multidisciplinary.

DBR, along with DJ Scientific, worked with Daniel Beaty to create the mood of Resurrection, infusing the script with his particular style, and giving voice to men in this community. Below you will find clips of the music straight from the recording studio.

This "Hip Hop Violinist" is gaining attention around the nation.  Below you will find videos of DBR performing his own work and being interviewed on CBS Evening News.
